As a mother of two teenage daughters, Jayne has had many interesting
parenting experiences and chances are many more to come.
Born in a small coal-mining town in New Brunswick, Jayne
grew up in a busy household, with three younger sisters, and
enjoyed a large extended family which made for a safe and
secure environment.
Raising her daughters 1,000 miles away from family posed
many challenges and as a parent, advice and wisdom on child
rearing came from many different sources.
I'm excited about this new multi-media project," explains
Jayne. "Juggling work and home is a challenge that many
parents face today. As parents we don't always have the answers;
we hope that e-Parenting Network can give you some new perspectives
and great ideas."
A stay-at-home mom for many years, Jayne was active in her
children's school, church and community, and spent a great
deal of time doing volunteer work. This changed a few years
ago when she and her sister hosted a national television cooking
series on LIFE Network.
